FAQ
1. Do I need any experience to begin?
No.
All our practices are beginner-friendly.
You don’t need to be flexible, strong, or experienced — just open to listening to your body. We adjust
pace and depth individually.
2. What should I bring to an in-person class?
Comfortable clothing that allows movement.
We provide mats, blankets, blocks, and all necessary props.
If you prefer your own mat — feel free to bring it.
3. I feel anxious or disconnected from my body. Is this for me?
Yes.
Many people come to us feeling tense, overwhelmed, or numb.
Gymnosophsyst practices are designed to help restore stability, presence, and a sense of connection —
without pressure, judgment, or rush.
4. What’s the difference between group classes and individual sessions?
Group classes offer a shared rhythm and collective space.
Individual sessions are tailored to your specific state, pace, and needs.
They’re slower, deeper, and more personal.
5. Can I practice online if I’m “not flexible”?
Absolutely.
This is not about flexibility — it’s about awareness.
You move within your own limits, with no comparison or force.
Online sessions allow you to create a calm, private space that feels safe.
6. Can this replace therapy?
No — if you are in therapy, we do not replace it.
But this practice can support your therapeutic work by grounding you in the body, calming anxiety, and
bringing you back to the present.
7. How do I sign up?
Just send us an email or give us a call.
We’ll help you choose a format and find the next available time.
Not sure where to start? That’s okay. We’ll figure it out together.
